1. Sign up to the Les Mills Instructor Portal

So you've been to a Les Mills Class and found the perfect class for you to be an instructor. To get you on the path to becoming a Les Mills Instructor you first need to create an account to our Instructor Portal - this will allow you to book yourself onto Initial Training - the start of your Instructor Journey!


2. Book and Attend Initial Training

LES MILLS­™ initial training workshops are designed to give you the tools and techniques to create life-changing fitness experiences in every class you teach.

At the workshop you will receive the latest program release, program manuals, as well as hands-on time with a certified National Trainer who will give you instruction and feedback to guide your progress. ACE/ AFAA and CEC's/ CEU's are also offered where valid.


3. Rock your assessment

After you've finished your initial training you'll need to submit a video of you teaching your class. This is to ensure that you are creating a safe and effective workout environment for your participants, to keep up the quality of LES MILLS™ instructors, and to make sure you are instructing to your full potential.Once your assessment is in and marked you'll be certified to teach your program if you've passed, or given another chance to resit your assessment if you haven't.

Your Instructor Portal account will lead you through each stage of the of this process and allow you to view feedback from your trainer and assessor.


4. Start Teaching!

Now you’re a Les Mills Certified Instructor it’s time to get teaching!

First you need to find a Les Mills licensed facility to teach at - you can find a facility here. If you need help finding a facility to teach at contact your local agent.
