Les Mills International is pleased to announce that from 1 June 2014 it will become the direct distributor of LES MILLS™ fitness programs across China.

This reflects the successful completion of the contract with the current distributor, New Life Resources and follows discussions with a number of providers about the best way to serve the needs of facilities, instructors and participants in China’s fitness industry. This change means that Les Mills International will now distribute its range of fitness programs directly to fitness clubs and facilities across China while managing the training of the hundreds of local certified Les Mills instructors.

The change in the ownership of the distributor in China reflects Les Mills International’s commitment to developing its presence in the Chinese market and building a closer relationship with Chinese clubs, instructors and participants. Les Mills will now be able to provide an enhanced offering to its licensees in China, including access to the latest marketing material and resources designed to maximize and measure group fitness class attendance in clubs.

Les Mills China will retain a presence in Shenzhen and a number of former New Life Resources staff will transition across to Les Mills China, including Eric Tsang, the former Chief Operations Officer at New Life Resources who assumes the role of General Manager at Les Mills China.

This continuity means that all Les Mills’ customers can be assured of a smooth and seamless transition of operations.
