Yeah bring back some rock and old fashioned pop that members can get into and sing along for a few tracks.  And please, no more crazy music like the 87 Shoulder track!

I LOVE the dubstep they're putting into the sessions now!! Really helps you through the shoulder track :)

Its the painful heartbreak song during cool down that makes me depressed! ;) hope they picked something nicer for 88.

Just went through BP 88 last night and this morning. Music BLOWS! I think they are struggling for music now. No tracks make you sings or really drive you. I agree too that we need some more rock. Guys IMO prefer some sprinkled in with others styles. Should reach a broader audience with music selection. I hope I grow to tolerate this release. Members ready for 88 after a few weeks of teaching 87.

    Re: BodyPump 88

So in relation to 87, is about the same type of music?  Maybe they are trying to go in a different direction musically to attract a different crowd??? Only thing I'm keeping from 87 is track 5 and maybe track 2 and 7

If i doesn't challenge you, it won't change you.

I have not done it but I quite like the music. (OK maybe done with "Can't hold us") but I think at any time a global company producing something for this many people will always have the genre battle.

    Re: BodyPump 88

I have actually grown to love the 87 tracks. I would say there not even a bad song at this point. I will drop the lunge rack, as its brutal and killing my legs.

But musically, its great. Maybe the shoulder track can go?

    Re: BodyPump 88

I think you hit the nail on the head. The music has to reach a global audience and not just us folks in the US.

That can be a HUGE problem for some. Music in BP is everything. If I am not motivated, or my class, how d you do that "fitness magic" they want.

Like me with my Spinning. music is a challenge and needs to appeal to many folks and keep MY motivated.
